Newcastle United have suspended reserve team manager Willie Donachie for allegedly striking one of the players.

Donachie, an ex-Scotland international, has worked for the Magpies since 2009 during which time he has held a number of different positions.

Donachie has been temporarily relived of his duties for an altercation with youngster Remie Streete, while the club investigate the matter further.
