Arsenal's teenage star Serge Gnabry has chosen to play for Germany ahead of Ivory Coast on the international stage.
The midfielder, 18, told German outlet Die Welt, he's opted to play for the country he's represented at youth level and not the native country of his father, Jean-Hermann Gnabry.
“Since I have played for the Germany youth teams, it is no question for me that I want to play for Germany by any means. I hope that I can make the leap into the first team,” Gnabry stated
Germany coach Joachim Loew has been to see Gnabry play on several occasions, and went as far as to praise the qualities of the youngster.
