Arsenal fans keen to forget Saturday's mauling at Chelsea will be pleased that Bayern Munich have ruled out signing Julian Draxler.

In altogether more embarrassing news for the Gunners, former Chelsea forward Salomon Kalou reckons he turned down the chance to sign for Arsenal from Lille in January (Express)

After being heavily linked with William Carvalho, Man United will turn their attentions to another Portuguese international, Fabio Coentrao, who is available for £10m (Daily Star)

Spurs will spend big again this summer as they prepare to fend off competition from the likes of Man City, Chelsea and Newcastle for free-scoring Red Bull Salzburg winger Sadio Mane (Metro)

And finally, Championship promotion guru Neil Warnock is poised to take over from Billy Davies at Nottingham Forest after holding talks with owner Fawaz Al-Hasawi. Forest fans may also want to prepare themselves for the arrival of Paddy Kenny, who follows Warnock everywhere he goes (Telegraph)
