Chelsea are putting together outlandish plans for a £50m mega-deal deal with Spanish champions Atletico Madrid, buying attacking Brazilian left-back Filipe Luis, wily Portuguese midfielder Tiago, to add to Spain's Brazilian-born goal-machine Diego Costa. (Mirror)

The West Londoners have also begun negotiations to buy Barcelona's Cesc Fabregas. The former Arsenal midfielder is keen to come back to England and the Catalan club will let him go for £30m. (Telegraph)

Liverpool, who reportedly completed a deal for Emre Can on Thursday and are close to signing Sevilla left-back Alberto Moreno, would need to receive a Gareth Bale-sized £80m bid in order to agree to the sale of striker Luis Suarez. (Marca)

France centre-back Eliaquim Mangala, Manchester City's top transfer target, would prefer a move to Manchester United, although Louis van Gaal is expected to pass on the Porto defender due to concerns about the 23-year-old's temperament. (Guardian)

Arsenal have set their sights on Napoli forward Lorenzo Insigne, who netted 15 times last season, but Gunners manager Arsene Wenger will take his customary time and wait to see how the 23-year-old performs at the World Cup. (Metro)
