Manager Felix Magath has already branded Fulham's clash with Wolves a must-win game after their losing start in the Sky Bet Championship.
The Cottagers have lost their opening two fixtures to Ipswich and Millwall after relegation from the Barclays Premier League last season.
They host Wolves on Wednesday and Magath believes they cannot afford to slip up for a third time.
"It's always more pressure if you lose a game instead of winning," Magath told the club's official site.
"We need points - we have to make three points against Wolves now. We not only have to play well, we have to score and we have to win.
"If we had played worse [against Ipswich and Millwall] I would be a little nervous but we played well and we have a new team, we have a new situation. There are a lot of new things."
Magath could recall £11million striker Ross McCormack after his second-half performance in Saturday's 1-0 defeat to Millwall, while Shaun Hutchinson, Chris David and Cauley Woodrow are also pushing to start.
Wolves, who lost 1-0 at Rotherham on Saturday, are without midfielder Tommy Rowe as he is yet to regain match fitness after breaking his toe in pre-season.
Manager Kenny Jackett, who has reiterated right-back Kevin Foley is free to leave, is still searching for new signings after seeing moves for Leicester's Chris Wood and Crewe's Max Clayton collapse.
He told Wolves' official site: "It's really important we sign players to make a difference - Wolves is a big club that I think demands good players.
"Getting players in are key decisions and they're important ones - who can do it this season and who can't?"
