Crystal Palace are set to appoint Malky Mackay as Tony Pulis' replacement at Selhurst Park, according to reports.

Mackay had a very public falling out with Cardiff City owner Vincent Tan after getting the Welsh side promoted to the Premier League.

The Scot will take the place of former manager Pulis in South London, after the Welshmen left the club, due to a lack of transfer activity during the summer.

Ex-Watford boss Mackay is no stranger to the hierachy at Selhurst Park, having worked closely with sporting director Iain Moody at Cardiff.
