On the eve of Arsenal's Champions League Round of 16 first leg tie against AC Milan, ITV pundit Gareth Southgate says the Gunners have what it takes to progress.
Despite their shaky domestic form, which has prompted questions among Arsenal fans about the position of manager Arsene Wenger, Southgate believes that Arsenal's forward line will pose Milan real problems at the San Siro on Wednesday, a game live on ITV1 and ITV.com.
"They've got the ability to go anywhere and win," Southgate exclusively told ITV. "Away from home especially - the pace of Theo Walcott, the goalscoring power of Van Persie, and they've got Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain who is an unknown to teams in Europe."
"The concern for Arsenal is can they defend well enough, but with the style of Italian sides like Milan they may not be posed the questions that they've been struggled with domestically."
