Another game and another three points - just another week in the life of Premier League high-fliers Hull City!
The lads were superb last Saturday in the 1-0 win against West Ham and our season continues to go from strength to strength.
The great thing about the campaign so far is, apart from one bad game against Wigan, no-one has really bothered us, and as a result belief in the camp is huge at the moment.
We believe we can be up there at the end of the season - and if everyone keeps working hard then we will keep upsetting some of the bigger sides.
The top teams are pretty much in a league of their own - just look at how easily Chelsea and United both won on the weekend - but why shouldn't we finish with a European place?
We've got games coming up against both Chelsea and Manchester United and there will be no pressure on us in those games. Everyone will expect us to lose but maybe we'll surprise people again.
Tactically there has been no secret to our success apart from being positive - home or away we've played 4-4-2 or even 4-3-3 at times and that's credit to the boss Phil Brown.
From a personal point of view it's still hard for me at the moment, not being involved on matchdays. I'm working hard in training all week but I've got nothing to look forward to on the weekend and it's very frustrating.
Looking to the future I think I'll wait until January and weigh up my options then. I'm 39 now, it's not's like I'm 24, and I need to be playing football and making the most of the time I've got left in the game.
If I'm still not playing a part come January then I will have to think about moving on but I'll cross that bridge when I come to it. To be honest, I feel sorry for my wife and kids at the moment - I'm not a very nice person to be around when I'm not playing!
West Brom are next up on Saturday and as always our attitude is going to have to be spot-on. We beat them at The Hawthorns when we were both in the Championship last season and they might want a bit of revenge for that.
Who knows, if results go our way we could be top by next week! Remember to check my blog next week to see how we got on...
