When you score an equaliser like that it gives really good energy to the team. [Franciszek] Smuda got his tactics spot on and we followed them through on the pitch. We're still in contention and if we win our final game we're through. We'll fight until the end.

We've proved we can play a good game and achieve good results. The supporters can make a difference and we must believe in ourselves. If we have the attitude and get energy from the fans we can show them that we deserve their support.

Russia coach Dick Advocaat said that he was happy with his side's performance in their 1-1 draw against Poland, and suggested that his opponents' equalising goal from captain Jakub Blaszczykowski was somewhat fortunate.

As far as the goal we conceded is concerned, if Blaszczykowski shoots 100 times from that position he'll score once.

We played quite open in the second half and allowed the Poles to play on the counter, which they like to do. Unfortunately they scored with their one chance. We were a little bit tired in the second half I think. We couldn't create the necessary pressure on their goal.

I wouldn't say that the Poles attacked dangerously...they gave us territory and played on the counter-attack. We didn't play particularly convincingly in attack. We often gave the ball away...Everything will be decided in the final match.

We saw the best of Poland in the second-half, even if they didn't manage to get a crucial second goal. Russia were incredibly wasteful in the final third as they struggled to create chances despite getting in good positions, which also cost them a goal.
