New QPR boss Paul Hart saw plenty of reasons to be cheerful despite being held to a 1-1 draw by Sheffield United in his first game in charge.

Hart's reign got off to a flyer when Mikele Leigertwood opened the scoring with a deflected effort after just 90 seconds. But the lead lasted just six minutes before Ben Watson's sloppy backpass let in Toni Kallio, whose cross was bundled in by a combination of Richard Cresswell and defender Kaspars Gorkss.

"I thought we played extremely well. In the second half we were excellent,"said Hart.

"I'm really pleased with the way they went about their jobs."
