Nottingham Forest defender Joe Heath has returned to the City Ground following a loan spell at Lincoln.
The left-back, 21, linked up with the Imps in the summer but endured a frustrating first half of the season at the League Two club.
A troublesome hip problem restricted Heath to just five league and cup appearances for Chris Sutton`s side.
His last outing for the club was a 2-1 win against Chesterfield at Sincil Bank on Boxing Day.
