Reading caretaker boss Brian McDermott admits he has no idea what the future holds following Brendan Rodgers' departure this week.
McDermott has been placed in temporary charge of the Royals and led them to a 1-1 draw at Bristol City on Saturday.
He said: "I'm not looking beyond this game at the moment.
"I'm just doing the job the chairman has asked me to do and I'll do it to the best of my ability.
"I've been at the club 10 years and nothing surprises me in football anymore. I'll carry on for as long as I'm needed and see what happens."
