Robins grateful for point

Barnsley manager Mark Robins admitted his side were fortunate to emerge from the match at Crystal Palace with a 1-1 a draw.

Daniel Bogdanovic put the Tykes ahead at Selhurst Park but Palace's teenage star Victor Moses rescued a point with a spectacular overhead kick.

Robins said: "I'm happy with the point because it is the worst game I have looked at in a long time."

He added: "If we were on the front foot from the first minute we could have won the game, but we weren't. We struggled to cope with Alan Lee's threat in the air for a long time.

"It was a nothing game and ended up petering out. A point at the end of it is brilliant because we are conceding some really poor goals and need to stop that.

"The conditions did not help and we had to make some last-ditch challenges because we did not show the right energy levels."
