Jose Mourinho is set to make an emotional return to Stamford Bridge after his Inter Milan side were drawn against Chelse in the knockout stages of the UEFA Champions League.
And there will be another homecoming at Old Trafford after AC Milan and David Beckham were drawn to face Manchester United.
England's third representative, Arsenal, will be the happiest of the trio after pulling Porto out of the hat.
Chelsea chief executive Ron Gourlay insisted Mourinho would receive a warm welcome, but also backed current coach Carlo Ancelotti to overcome his old rival.
He said: "I'm sure Jose will get a fantastic reaction from our fans and it will be quite a spectacle.
"All the clubs who come to Chelsea now have a point to prove. Jose had a fantastic impact on the club and we had some fantastic players then.
"(But) we have a fantastic coach who is unbelievably experienced at this level having won the competition twice as a player and twice as a coach. At this level, Carlo can take us to the next step."
United defender Patrice Evra admitted he was looking forward to seeing Beckham back at Old Trafford.
He said: "He did a lot of great things for Manchester United and I want to say to him “Welcome Home”.
“But I hope he plays badly and I intend to make sure he doesn’t do very well.”
