Liverpool boss Rafael Benitez is convinced that his side can put their dismal form behind them and kick-start their UEFA Champions League campaign in Lyon tonight.
The Reds' hopes of qualifying for the knock-out stages of the tournament are hanging by a thread after two defeats in their first three matches, and they face a tough test to beat Lyon on the French side's home turf.
But Benitez told ITV Sport's Clive Tyldesley that he believes his side can pull off a great escape similar to the one they managed in 2007/08 when they were in an equally desperate position after three matches.
