Dynamo Kiev 1-2 FC Porto

Lucho Gonzalez scored a stoppage-time winner for Porto before being sent off as the Portuguese champions came from behind to beat Dynamo Kiev in the Champions League.

Hosts Kiev put themselves in the driving seat in the 21st minute when Artem Milevskiy finished off a great passing move with a cool finish.

But Porto fought back with second-half goals from Rolando and then Lucho to win the game and move into second place in Group G.

Porto started very much on the front foot and despite being forced to try their luck from range in the early stages still had Dynamo keeper Stanislav Bogush on his toes.

Raul Meireles was first to go for goal after seven minutes when he forced Bogush to tip a shot from 20 yards over the bar, before Cristian Rodriguez produced a similar save from the Ukrainian 10 minutes later with an angled effort from the left-hand corner of the area.

But despite having the brighter start it was the hosts who took the lead with a flowing passing move after 21 minutes.

Tiberiu Ghioane received a pass from midfield on the edge of the area and laid the ball off with his first touch to Milevskiy, who in turn struck a first-time shot between a pack of Porto defenders and into the far corner.

Porto continued their policy of only shooting from outside the area, as Raul Meireles twice had a go from around the 20-yard mark but was thwarted comfortably on both occasions by Bogush.

Immediately after the break the hosts came out looking to build on their lead, as Milevskiy flew past Pedro Emanuel on the right wing and sent a cross into the area which Porto needed two attempts to clear.

Milevskiy then nearly doubled his tally 10 minutes later when his drilled shot from inside the box had to be tipped round the post by Helton.

However, the hosts were made to pay for their more positive approach in the 68th minute when Porto won a free-kick on the right wing level with the edge of the area.

Raul Meireles curled a cross into the area and Rolando powered his way through the crowd in the box to fire a header past Bogush.

Kiev continued to push for a second goal and came within inches of getting it three minutes from time when Ognjen Vukojevic found space in the area but directed his shot on to a post.

As the hosts continued to throw men forward they always ran the risk of being caught out, and that proved to be the case as in the second minute of stoppage time Lisandro Lopez broke free and played the ball to Lucho, who converted from close range before immediately after being shown a second yellow card for his celebrations.
