Report: SV Red Bull Salzburg v Bohemians

Published: Thursday, 16 July 2009, 8:52AM

Joseph Ndo scored a potentially priceless equaliser to give League of Ireland champions Bohemians a real chance of reaching the Champions League third qualifying round following their 1-1 draw against Salzburg.

Ndo stabbed the ball home from close range in the 60th minute at the Red Bull Arena after Milan Dudic had given hot favourites Salzburg a 25th-minute lead.

Bohemians keeper Brian Murphy pulled off a crucial penalty save from Mark Janko just moments before Ndo's goal as the visitors rode their luck.

But in the end Pat Fenlon's men were full value for their draw which sets up an exciting second leg at Dalymount Park next week.
