Wayne Rooney may have issues to resolve before he hits top form again - but Montenegro coach Zlatko Kranjcar still views the England striker as a man to fear at Wembley on Tuesday.
Kranjcar has little sympathy for Rooney over recent allegations surrounding his private life.
Yet, as his team look to end England's 100% start to their Euro 2012 qualification programme, Kranjcar recognises Montenegro would have more chance of recording their fourth straight win if Rooney was not around.
"One thing is for sure, England are definitely a better side with Wayne Rooney than they are without him," he said.
"I am sure it is very difficult for Rooney - but he got himself into this situation.
"He has big difficulties handling it psychologically. There is a lot of pressure on the player, so he is in a very difficult situation right now.
"But I believe the chance to play will help his self-confidence and restore his game."
