Steven Gerrard and Peter Crouch were pleased to have kept England's World Cup momentum going after hitting back to beat Egypt.
Tottenham striker Crouch scored two in the 3-1 victory to force his way further into Fabio Capello's reckoning.
Gerrard also believed John Terry coped well with the poor reception he received from the Wembley crowd.
