Steven Gerrard has admitted his form has been below par this season as Liverpool have struggled in the Premier League.
The England midfielder has been way off his best for Rafa Benitez's side, but insists he can still help Liverpool finish in a Champions League position before shifting his focus to the World Cup.
And despite injury problems surrounding defenders, Gerrard insists Liverpool team-mate Jamie Carragher will not be contemplating coming out of his self-imposed international exile.
