After a goalless draw at Craven Cottage, Tottenham now host Fulham at White Hart Lane looking to book a place at Wembley in the FA Cup semi final.
The first match between the sides saw 26 efforts on goal with none of them going into the back of the net, and Spurs have recently faced the double blow of seeing both Jermain Defoe and Roman Pavlyuchenko sidelined by injury, leaving their strikeforce severely depleted.
Given the lack of goals in the first match, Opta compare the credentials of the two men likely to line up for the Lilywhites against their crocked counterparts:
| Player | Minutes per goal | Chance conversion rate | Assists |
| Roman Pavlyuchenko | 57 | 29% | 1 |
| Jermain Defoe | 124 | 22% | 3 |
| Eidur Gudjohnsen | 137 | 100% | 0 |
| Peter Crouch | 378 | 8% | 6 |
Roman Pavlyuchenko has been something of a revelation lately for Spurs, firing in five goals in 287 minutes of league action and relegating Jermain Defoe to a spot on the bench in the game at Craven Cottage, despite the former Portsmouth man’s rate of one goal every 124 minutes. However with these two out, the problem for Spurs is that Peter Crouch has been struggling to find the net.
The England forward had four shots on goal against Fulham, but failed to convert any of them, a problem he has had all season. His conversion rate is amongst the lowest for strikers in the Premier League in 2009/10 (8%), though compensation for this is that only three forwards have set up more goals than him (6).
Eidur Gudjohnssen is perhaps still an unknown quantity for Spurs, although the fact that he scored with his only shot of the game against Stoke last Saturday should give Harry Redknapp hope that he could prove to have the lethal edge that his side need if they are to reach the semis.
