Nuneaton will wait on the fitness of Rob Foster before naming their side to face Exeter in the FA Cup.
The striker suffered a back injury whilst at work, putting his cup dream in severe doubt.
Despite not being a regular starter this season, Foster has been pushing for inclusion in recent weeks after scoring twice having come off the bench last week and scoring the winner in the previous round of the cup.
But Nuneaton have options with Jez Murphy, Lee Moore and Chris Dillon all vying for a place up front.
Midfielder Matty Collins and wing-back Simon Forsdick will definitely be missing with their respective knee injuries.
Loan-signing Adam Walker is also out of the match as parent club Coventry have requested he is not involved in the game, to prevent him from becoming cup-tied.
Exeter will be forced to change a winning line-up.
City boss Paul Tisdale must replace winger Craig Noone, who scored in last week's 3-0 League One win over Brentford, and suspended striker Marcus Stewart.
Noone has been recalled by parent club Plymouth due to a spate of injuries and suspensions at the Championship club.
Ryan Harley came off the substitutes' bench to replace Noone in the 85th minute of last week's win, when Stewart was sent off after receiving two cautions.
On-loan Tottenham goalkeeper Oscar Jansson this week had his loan stay at Exeter extended to a third month and he has been given permission to play for City, but Andy Marriott could keep his place.
