Grayson keen on Max move

Gradel not for sale - Pearson

Leeds have been warned off making a permanent bid to sign on loan winger Max Gradel by parent club Leicester.

The League One leaders recently extended Gradel's stay at Elland Road until the start of January and United boss Simon Grayson is keen to keep the player for the remainder of the season.

However, anything more than a season-long loan looks unlikely after City chief Nigel Pearson issued a "hands-off" warning, telling the Yorkshie Post: "He is not for sale - it's as simple as that."

He added: "Max is a player who has had limited opportunities here this season and that is why he is on loan. It gives him an opportunity to be playing games, which is important to us, while it is difficult for him to get in our side."
