Brighton manager Gus Poyet had no complaints after the 2-0 home defeat by Charlton.

The Seagulls have now lost seven of 12 home matches after goals from Deon Burton and Scott Wagstaff - but Poyet is upbeat about their prospects.

"We played much better in this game, and I'm 100% sure if we continue to play like that we will win games," he said.

"It's going to come, of that I've no doubt. I felt for the players in this game.

"There was not a two-goal difference between the two teams.

"For long periods we controlled the game, and I'm sure if we play like that at Exeter on Saturday we will win."
