Grimsby have signed Damien McCrory from Plymouth on an initial month-long loan deal.
The versatile 19-year-old left-sided player has spent the previous two months on loan at Port Vale where he made five appearances, including one against Grimsby in Town's 4-0 defeat at Vale Park in September.
McCrory's deal runs until December 12 and he is expected to go straight into the squad to face Leeds in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy on Tuesday night.
