St Mirren will be without Steven Thomson for their Clydesdale Bank Premier League game against St Johnstone.
The midfielder is suspended for the visit of the Perth Saints in the midweek clash at new St Mirren Park.
Buddies boss Gus MacPherson has no fresh injury worries from the side who drew with Rangers in the Active Nation Scottish Cup at the weekend.
MacPherson insists he has no fears about his players' focus despite reports of a row over bonuses with club directors.
Saints players were apparently furious at earning less for beating Hearts to book their place in the Co-operative Insurance Cup final than the amount they received for seeing off Motherwell in the previous round.
It has also been claimed they prevented directors from joining in the celebrations after reaching their first major final in 23 years by locking the dressing room door following the win over the Jambos last Tuesday.
MacPherson has confirmed a meeting took place with the board two weeks ago but has denied his players were "at war" with club bosses.
And he believes recent matches - such as that cup win and last week's draw with Rangers in the Active Nation Scottish Cup - proves he need not be concerned about tensions spilling over into the games.
"It's not a worry because it happened a couple of weeks ago and we have had four games since then," said MacPherson.
"There has been a positive reaction from the players. It's not a concern at all."
St Johnstone go into the game without the suspended Graham Gartland.
Kevin Moon is ruled out again with a hamstring injury while Stuart McCaffrey remains on the sidelines following groin surgery,
Saints boss Derek McInnes, however, is boosted by the news that Collin Samuel and Kevin Rutkiewicz are back after recovering from knee injuries.
McInnes believes it will be "easy" to pick up his players following two consecutive cup disappointments.
After losing the Co-operative Insurance Cup semi-final against Rangers at Hampden last Wednesday, the Saints were drummed out of the Active Nation Scottish Cup fifth round at home to Dundee United at the weekend.
However, the Perth side's boss has no concerns about morale ahead of Wednesday night's Clydesdale Bank Premier League game at St Mirren.
"It`s an easy job to pick myself and the players up for this game," he told Press Association Sport:
"It was disappointing to go out of both competitions but we lost to two very good sides.
"Dundee United are under pressures of their own to get trophies and I have to admit they were slightly better on the day than us although there were a couple of decisions that went against us.
"And it is no disgrace losing to the Scottish champions.
"Walter Smith has reached the final of every competition he has entered since he came back to Rangers for the second time.
"That shows you what we were up against.
"So there will be no hangover against St Mirren.
"We won't dwell on it, we will regroup.
"The SPL has always been our priority and we want to stay in it for next season.
"That has always been our aim.
"The next challenge for us is St Mirren and and I believe that if we play to our best then we can compete with them."
