There's a double header of Europa League action coming your way on the ITV4 and ITV.com tonight: coverage of Werder Bremen v Valencia and Sporting Lisbon v Atletico Madrid begins at 5.55pm.

First up, Bundesliga outfit Werder Bremen entertain Valencia at the Weserstadion with the tie poised at 1-1 after the first leg. Juan Mata equalised for Valencia at the Mestalla following Torsten Frings's opener but who will come out on top tonight?

Later in the evening the José Alvalade Stadium in Lisbon is the venue as Portuguese top-flight outfit Sporting Lisbon face Atletico Madrid for a place in the last eight. Sporting finished the first leg with nine men but held out for a goalless draw so there is everything to play for on Thursday night in what promises to be an enthralling tie.
