Ajax coach Martin Jol will take no risks over fielding Vurnon Anita and Urby Emanuelson in the Europa League clash at FC Timisoara with his team needing only a point to secure their place in the last 32.
The Amsterdam giants lead the way in Group A along with Anderlecht, with both clubs having picked up eight points from their first four games.
Dinamo Zagreb lie third on three points with Timisoara propping up the rest on only two and still searching for their first win.
A draw in Romania will seal a spot in the next phase for Jol's troops, with the manager set to make a late decision on whether to play Anita and Emanuelson, who both picked up knocks at the weekend.
The pair trained separately from the squad today and, with one eye on Sunday's Eredivisie clash with FC Utrecht, Jol said: "I will take no risks with them.
"I tend towards giving players rest. But we are not Manchester United. I cannot pick another 11 players. We have to pick up one point."
Belgian centre-back Jan Vertonghen looks set to be fit for the game after coming through training unscathed today following a toe problem but Jol will be without injured quartet Gabri, Kennedy Bakircioglu, Siem de Jong and Thimothee Atouba.
Timisoara need to win on Wednesday and in Zagreb in the final round of matches in a fortnight's time to have any chance of advancing, and hope Ajax or Anderlecht slip up.
Timisoara coach Ioan Sabau has a full squad at his disposal and is desperate to get at least one three-point haul on the board.
"It's a very important game for us," said Sabau, whose side have not won in 10 European matches but held Ajax to a goalless draw on matchday one.
"We all want to get our first win in European competition - all the more so because we are playing Ajax, a team steeped with tradition."
Timisoara head into the contest buoyed by a 6-2 domestic triumph at Gaz Metan on Sunday and leading the way in Liga 1.
Sabau added: "The team is in even better shape than before. The players have more confidence in themselves.
"Although we won 6-2 in the last league game, mistakes were made. We will analyse this.
"The Ajax school has a mentality of winning. They are trained to attack."
