The champions made heavy weather of it at times, but in the end their class told. For all the money QPR have spent they look terribly vulnerable in defence - not helped by Anton Ferdinand's departure midway through the game with an injury. City, meanwhile, just need to keep up their intensity for a full 90 minutes, instead of the 15 or 20 they managed here.
