Ajax win fourth successive Eredivisie title

Ajax clinched their fourth straight Eredivisie title with a 1-1 draw against Heracles Almelo.

Frank de Boer's side began the game six points clear of Feyenoord with two games to play.

"I am proud," De Boer said. "It was not the prettiest game, but eventually we dragged in the title."

Spurs are interested in signing Ajax attacking midfielder Davy Klaassen when the transfer window reopens at the end of the season.

Ajax want at least £10m for the Dutch Under-21 international, who has scored seven goals in ten league matches this season.

Arsenal and Man United are also thought to be monitoring the 20 year-old's progress.

Dream debut for Ajax youngster

Ajax's 17 year old defender Jairo Riedewald could not have dreamed of a better first team debut, after scoring twice having been introduced at Roda with ten minutes remaining.

The youngster's 88th minute and 92nd minute goals keep Ajax top of the league on goal difference.
