Video: World's longest football flag?

River Plate fans paraded a 7,829m club flag from the site of River's former ground in the Palermo district of the capital to the Monumental, their massive stadium in Nunez. The flag has been claimed by River fans as the longest in the world.

Maradona supports Argentina's Davis Cup team

Argentina legend Diego Maradona enjoyed a day out at the tennis in Buenos Aires on Friday. He watched his country take on the Czech Republic in their Davis Cup clash. El Diego didn't get the result he wanted though, as Tomas Berdych fought back to beat Juan Monaco in a five-set thriller.

Boca draw, stay top

Argentinian Apertura leaders Boca Juniors were held to a 1-1 draw at Argentinos Juniors on Sunday night. Argentinos had Diego Placente sent off in the 65th minute but Boca could not find a winner despite their extra man. Boca still lead the Argentine top flight by one point.
