Former Blackburn manager Steve Kean is to return to football as manager of Brunei DPMM, who play in Singapore's top flight.

The 46-year-old resigned from his position at Ewood Park in September 2012 following a tumultuous spell at the helm lasting almost two years, during which Rovers fans constantly called for him to be sacked.

Kean had been linked with the vacant managerial seat at Bury, but will now manage in Asia.
