Blackpool forward Thomas Ince has been handed an immediate two-match ban by the Football Association.

Ince accepted a charge given to him by the governing body for using an offensive and/or insulting and/or abusive gesture towards a match official during the Tangerines' Capital One Cup defeat to rivals Preston.

Blackpool winger Tom Ince by the Football Association following an incident during his club's Capital One Cup tie with Preston.

An FA statement said: "It is alleged that Ince made an offensive and/or insulting and/or abusive gesture towards a match official in the 24th minute of his side’s Capital One Cup match at Preston North End on Monday 5 August 2013."

Tom Clarke's late winner handed Preston a 1-0 victory over Lancashire rivals Blackpool in a tense Capital One Cup first-round clash at Deepdale.

Clarke's 87th-minute close-range header from Lee Holmes' free-kick sent the League One side through and prompted a full-time pitch invasion at the end of the match.

Noguera leaves Blackpool by mutual consent

Blackpool have confirmed that midfielder Alberto Noguera has left the club by mutual consent.

Noguera, 23, joined the Tangerines from Atletico Madrid in August 2012 but made just one appearance last season.

The Spaniard, who has also enjoyed spells with S.S Reyes and Rayo Majadahonda, is now free to find a new club.
