Can Bournemouth cause another FA Cup upset 30 years after beating Man United?

Thirty years ago, a third division Bouremouth side managed by Harry Redknapp knocked holders Man United out of the FA Cup at the third round stage.

Goals from Milton Graham and Ian Thompson were enough to record a famous victory on the south-coast, some two-and-a-half years before Sir Alex Ferguson took over at Old Trafford.

This weekend, the Cherries host Liverpool live on ITV hoping to cause another upset. Can they do it?

Camp decamps to Bournemouth

West Brom reserve goalkeeper Lee Camp has joined Bournemouth on loan for one month.

The 29-year-old, who signed for Albion on transfer deadline day on a rolling monthly contract to January, is yet to make a competitive appearance for the Baggies.

Howe rages over coin incident

Bournemouth defender Steve Cook was left with a gashed head after a Millwall fan threw a coin at him as his team celebrated their fourth goal in a 5-2 win at the Goldsands Stadium.

Cook needed lengthy treatment but was able to resume as Bournemouth came back from 2-0 down to clinch their fifth win of the season.

There is no way the players deserve to have things thrown at them. This is a family club, it should not have happened and I hope it does not happen again.

Crowds can shout what they like and Lewis was doing nothing untoward after scoring his goal. Football is an emotional game and I can understand the celebrations.

– Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe
