Denmark v Germany: the permutations

Denmark will progress with any win. A draw will only be good enough if Portugal lose to the Dutch. If Denmark lose they are out.

Germany are not quite through, but will be as group winners (meaning a match against Greece in Gdansk) if they draw. They will be knocked out if they lose to Denmark by any result other than a one-goal defeat in which Germany score at least two AND Portugal win.

One change apiece for Germany and Denmark

Germany make one change to the team that beat Holland, with Lars Bender coming in for the suspended Jerome Boateng. Denmark replace the injured Dennis Rommedahl with Jacob Poulsen.

Denmark's Zimling will be fit for Germany clash

Denmark midfielder Niki Zimling will be available for Sunday's crucial Group B match against Germany. The FC Bruges midfielder was forced off the field after just 15 minutes against Portugal, but team doctor Soren Kaalund said: "It's a matter of tactical disposition from Olsen now."
