Zanetti set for new Inter role

Inter Milan's long-serving captain Javier Zanetti has confirmed he will remain at the Nerazzurri once he retires from football.

The 40-year-old met with Inter president Erick Thohir on Sunday to discuss his future at the club once his contract expires this summer.

Inter Milan are in talks with Man United about Portuguese international winger Nani, according to Sky Sport Italia.

The 27 year-old has failed to impress new manager David Moyes this season and is on United's list of players who are available to leave.

The Red Devils are willing to sell Nani before the January window closes, but only for a reasonable price.
