Western Sydney Wanderers ruined Harry Kewell's farewell party as they scored twice late on to beat the Melbourne Heart 3-2 at AAMI Stadium.

Kewell's final game following a glittering career - highlight by two World Cups and winning the 2005 Champions League with Liverpool - looked set to end with a win as the Heart led 2-1 with 10 minutes left.

But Brendan Santalab (81) and Youssuf Hersi (86) struck near the end to confirm the Wanderers would finish the A-League regular season in second place and with it secure a home semi-final.
