Nugent: Ulloa is a bargain

David Nugent thinks Leicester have signed one of the bargains of the season in Leonardo Ulloa.

Eyebrows were raised when Leicester broke their transfer record to sign Ulloa from Brighton in the summer.

The Foxes paid an initial £8million fee, which could rise to £10million, for the striker even though he had just one season of experience in English football before moving to the King Power Stadium.

Leo has been a revelation so far. He has come in from Brighton and he has scored lots of goals. At £8million he has turned out to be a bargain.

Bookmakers have cut the odds on Ulloa topping the scoring charts at the end of the season from 80-1 to 33-1.

Pearson: United have swagger back

Leicester boss Nigel Pearson feels Manchester United have got their "swagger" back ahead of their Barclays Premier League clash on Sunday.

United look like they have a swagger back, they have added quality. Whenever there is a change in manager you can have people who have a short-term impact.

When you have someone in charge for as long as Sir Alex (Ferguson) the transition period will never be easy.

They have been a huge presence within the English game for a long time. I'm sure they will reignite that at some point.

Pearson praise for Cambiasso

Leicester manager Nigel Pearson has praised the impact made so far by Esteban Cambiasso, even though he has yet to kick a ball in anger.

He is doing very well.

He talked about his English not being proficient, but he's a very good communicator.

That's always a big plus when you have a player of his experience and quality.

He's had nothing but a positive effect and that is testament to his own ability and character as a person. We're very pleased.
