Ramos hails Isco

Isco is a great player and anything Madrid does to strengthen with the squad with players of the highest level is always something to be happy about.

– Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos speaking to Spanish radio station Onda Cero

Isco has tough choice

Well, there are two offers on the table. I hope to decide soon, because I have a contract with Malaga. I am clear that both Manchester City and Real Madrid are two great clubs. Whatever happens, I want it to be the best outcome possible for both myself and for Malaga.

Joaquin set for Viola

Fiorentina have reached an agreement to sign veteran winger Joaquin from Primera Division club Malaga.

The Spanish side said: "Malaga would like to thank Joaquin for his dedication, professionalism and commitment to the club and wishes him luck in his first professional experience outside of Spain."

Pellegrini pencils in Monday for Man City

Manuel Pellegrini has hinted he will turn his attentions to Manchester City on Monday after his Malaga reign ended in defeat.

The 59-year-old Chilean saw his team lose 4-1 at Barcelona on the final day of the Primera Division season last night. Asked about the City move, he said:

We will see from Monday onwards where my future goes. When an agreement is reached, we will say something definite.

I'm not confiming anything, because I don't think it's fitting to speak on the basis of speculation. I have an agreement to start talks with Manchester City.

Other rumours will be true, others not. But I've focused on Malaga until now.

– Manuel Pellegrini

Isco keen to follow Pellegrini

He's been my footballing father and I know that he likes me and, for me, of course I would like to continue with him because he's given me all the confidence in the world.

It's a very important decision for me and I don't want to get it wrong.

I have doubts because I want to play, wherever it is, and that's the most important thing. I don't want to regret it after not getting many minutes.

I'm not closing my door to anyone but my priority is to play and I don't want to be on the bench.

We'll see what happens in the summer."
