Gattuso signs Lafferty

Former Rangers striker Kyle Lafferty has joined Serie B side Palermo from Sion on a three-year contract for an undisclosed fee.

England have maintained their position in the top 10 of FIFA's latest world rankings.

Roy Hodgson's side remain in seventh spot after a month of limited international football showed very few changes to the rankings.

All the top 10 spots remain the same, with Spain top ahead of Germany, while the Republic of Ireland (39th place), Wales (49th) and Northern Ireland (119th) are also unchanged.

Scotland however have dropped a place to joint 78th after being leapfroggred by Senegal.
