Eto'o could face PSG

Striker Samuel Eto'o could be risked despite his recent hamstring injury when Chelsea face Paris St Germain in Tuesday's Champions League quarter-final second leg seeking to overturn a 3-1 deficit.

Eto'o has missed the last three matches, including the first leg at the Parc des Princes when Jose Mourinho fielded a strikerless starting XI, with Fernando Torres overlooked before returning for Saturday's win over Stoke.

Zlatan to sit it out

Paris St Germain have confirmed Zlatan Ibrahimovic will be out of action for a number of weeks after injuring a thigh muscle in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final against Chelsea.

The Swedish striker was forced off midway through the second half and is certain to miss Tuesday's return fixture at Stamford Bridge, where the French league champions will attempt to defend a 3-1 advantage.

Motta: Chelsea still favourites

Paris St Germain midfielder Thiago Motta thinks the 3-1 Champions League quarter-final first-leg victory over Chelsea at Parc des Princes showed his side's character.

This is a good result, but it is still nothing done, there is another 90 minutes.

They remain the favourites, they have such an experience in European Cups, such players. They will be even better on hostile terrain next week.

The last 30 minutes of the first period (in Paris), they were huge. There were so many key things that happened in the game - the penalty that wasn't given to (Edinson) Cavani, (Zlatan) Ibrahimovic's injury - but we showed we knew how to react and recover.
