The uncle of PSG forward Ezequiel Lavezzi has been shot dead in Greater Rosario, Argentina.

Police confirmed that 60 year-old Jorge Lavezzi, the brother of Ezequiel's father, was discovered lifeless inside his Ford truck in Santa Fe province.

The authorities believe that Lavezzi was murdered with a gunshot to the head after resisting an armed robbery.

Ligue 1 big guns Monaco and Paris St Germain shared a 1-1 draw at the Stade Louis II to leave the visitors five points clear at the summit.

Cavani ruled out for 'several weeks'

Paris St Germain striker Edinson Cavani will not play for "several weeks" after suffering a thigh injury against Bordeaux, head coach Laurent Blanc has revealed.

The 64.5million-euro Uruguayan pulled up in the 75th minute of Friday night's 2-0 Ligue 1 victory over Les Girondins and was replaced by Ezequiel Lavezzi.

Yohan Cabaye made his PSG debut on Friday night, replacing Javier Pastore after 68 minutes of PSG's 2-0 Ligue 1 victory against Bordeaux. He almost scored late-on, heading against the post after great work by Exequiel Lavezzi.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Alex were on target for the league leaders.
