The 19-year-old centre-back moves from Serie A club Roma and has signed a five-year deal at the Parc de Princes.
No fee has been officially disclosed but it has been reported the Marquinhos has cost big-spending Les Parisiens in the region of 35million euros (£30.1million).

– PSG defender Thiago Silva speaking to Brazilian newspaper Globoesporte
Rumours? I have a four-year contract with Paris St Germain and I will respect this.
The season will start as the last one ended. I'll wear the jersey of Paris.
The coach (Laurent Blanc) has set me free so I can enjoy my vacation (after the Confederations Cup), but count on me for the Trophee des Champions against Bordeaux on August 3.
He asked me if I wanted to come back sooner, and I want to resume July 30.
Paris St Germain sporting director Leonardo will step down from his post at the end of the summer transfer window, the club have announced.
Paris St Germain coach Laurent Blanc believes the potential capture of Napoli striker Edinson Cavani would send out a message to the Ligue 1 champions' domestic and European rivals.
– PSG manager Laurent Blanc speaking to L'Equipe
If he was to join PSG, I would be happy.
It would be a big sporting shot and a signal to potential opponents of PSG in France and Europe.
I believe Cavani and Ibrahimovic are complementary.
Neither is the former France coach concerned about a possible exit by defender Thiago Silva who has been linked with a move to Barcelona.
I think he will be in Paris next season and he has a great chance to be captain.
