West Brom striker Shane Long praised 27-year old referee Robert Madley after he sent off three players in the match between the Baggies and Southampton.
The Yorkshireman sent off Danny Fox for a two-footed lunge after earlier showing red cards to Gaston Ramirez and Marc-Antoine Fortune.
– West Brom striker Shane Long.I got an elbow to the face. I don't know if it was deliberate or not but he caught me straight on the chin.
I think the ref got a good view of it and I was on the ground so I didn't get a view of the second one.
The third one was a two-footed challenge so I think we can say it was a good day's work for the ref.
