Greek club agree sponsorship deal with brothel

With economic conditions in Greece remaining perilous, one of the country's football clubs has come up with a novel way of attracting sponsorship money - by displaying the name of a local brothel on their shirts.

Voukefala, from the city of Larissa, revealed the innovative deal this week, and club president Giannis Batziolas explained the decision in good humour.

"When we announced to the players that our sponsor would be a brothel they wanted to know about bonuses," Batziolas told NovaSport FM radio station.
