All aboard the birthday train
He should have gone to to bigger and better things, but Dean Ashton was forced to retire in 2009 due to an ankle injury, but hopefully he'll still be smiling on his 29th birthday. He trod a similar path early on by making his name at Crewe, like Ashley Ward who hits 42 today.
