Baros returns to Czech Republic

Former Czech Republic striker Milan Baros has returned to Banik Ostrava, the club where he started his career.

The 31-year-old left Galatasaray recently after four years with the Turkish side, following spells at Liverpool, Aston Villa and Lyon.

The Czech club's website revealed the player had signed a deal until the end of next season with an agreement he can join a foreign club for free in June 2013 if there is interest.

Baros spent eight years at Banik between 1993 and 2001 before he moved to Liverpool.
