Xabi Alonso: Nani could have got just a yellow card
Real Madrid midfielder Xabi Alonso admitted he could see both sides of the argument on whether Manchester United's Nani should have been red-carded for his challenge on Alvaro Arbeloa.
And, when asked by ITV's Gabriel Clarke whether team-mate Cristiano Ronaldo was destined to score on his return to Old Trafford, the ex-Liverpool man coolly replied: "Someone had to score."
