Toure on target as Ivory Coast seal play-off spot

Ivory Coast were the first of several countries to secure their place in the play-offs of the African World Cup qualifiers today as they came from behind to beat Tanzania 4-2 in Group C.

Yaya Toure scored twice to help give the Elephants a five-point lead over Morocco with only one game left to play.

Ethiopia joined Ivory Coast in reaching the play-offs with victory over South Africa in the battle of Group A's leading pair.

Egypt are also through following a 1-0 win over Mozambique and Ghana edged into top spot in Group D with a 2-0 victory over Lesotho.
