Wolfy will take what he can get

Club-record signing Ricky van Wolfswinkel will gladly take plenty more scrappy goals as he looks to fire Norwich up the Barclays Premier League.

The £8million summer transfer from Sporting Lisbon finally got off the mark for his new club when he netted from close range on his home debut against Champions League play-off hopefuls Real Sociedad at Carrow Road on Tuesday, deflecting Leroy Fer's powerful near post header past the goalkeeper.

It went in off my left leg, but I am here to score goals like that, a typical striker's goal. it does not really matter how you hit it, I was a bit lucky, but I was in the right position.

It was a great feeling to play here at Carrow Road, and I am looking forward to more games like this.
