Uruguayan striker and free agent Javier Chevanton has signed a short-term contract at QPR.
Following his release from Italian side Lecce at the end of last season he has been training with the R’s in recent weeks and has obviously impressed Harry Redknapp and has signed a three month deal.
"With the injuries we've had to Bobby (Zamora) and AJ (Andy Johnson), we're really short of options in that department," Harry Redknapp told qpr.co.uk.
"Javier has spent time with us and integrated into the group very well. He arrives with a good pedigree and gives us a much-needed extra option in attack."
